How long does it take for my cabinets to come in?
Depending on the line...its as little as 3-4 weeks for our mid range – 6-8 weeks for our upper mid range or as much as 10-12 weeks for our higher end line. Custom wine rooms are between 4-6 weeks.
What is the first step when thinking about designing a kitchen or bathroom?
Start collecting magazine articles and pictures, start a project file, keep notes on wants and desires. Visit our showroom, view our kitchen and bath displays, meet our award-winning designers. You will get some wonderful design ideas!
What cabinetry lines does Roma carry? Are they custom made?
Roma showroom exhibits only high quality cabinetry, we display lines from Columbia, Deslaurier, Miralis, Omega and Irpinia. All our lines are custom manufactured to fit your special requirements.
How long has "Roma Kitchens and Design Centre" been in business?
We have been in the luxury home renovation business for over 30 years.
How far will Roma travel to design a kitchen or bathroom?
We have designed and installed kitchens and bathrooms all across Ontario and beyond. Let us know a little bit about you dreams and we can make them happen!
How do we find out what our design or project will cost?
This is the most frequently asked question and hardest to answer. The fact is, that you the client, determine what to invest in your project. There are many different price ranges at Roma and the lines we carry are medium to high end. The investment in your home could vary from $18,000 to $120,000 and higher, depending on the scope of your project.
How much of the project does "Roma" do?
We do as much as you want. Most of our clients use our full design and contracting service, then our Roma professional trades people look after the complete project.
Does it pay to use professional trades people?
Using the correct licensed trade person for the right job will pay back big dividends. Professional trades people assist in intelligent planning, they do the job right, and they guarantee their work!
Who does the coordination of all the different trades?
When you decide to use our full contracting service, our Project Co-Ordinator, will look after all aspect of the project that "Roma" is contracted to perform.
Who does the designing of our kitchen or bathroom?
At Roma our Design Team is one of our greatest assets. We have over 30 years experience in the home improvement business and this experience shows.
Does a kitchen or bathroom remodel increase the value of our home?
There is no question; a kitchen or bathroom remodel will increase the value of your home. It has been proven over and over again, in study after study.
Do you charge for a designer to come and look at our project?
We do not charge for the initial consultation. We will do design concepts and budgeting for your project. If you decide to proceed with detailed drawing and pricing, we ask for a design retainer. The design retainer is reimbursed back to you when you order your kitchen or bathroom.
How much is the design retainer?
We ask for a $750.00 design retainer.
Do you provide any Interior Design services?
We offer a Home Décor consultation which includes a visit to your home to provide recommendations on Home Redesign & space planning, Lighting strategies, Colour consultations, Furniture selection & placement, Window treatments, Flooring options, Structural changes, etc.
